  • Next Sunday New Song will be celebrating Charter Sunday, marking our transition from a mission church to a fully recognized congregation of the LCMS. Speaking at the 10:30 service will be Rev. Bill Ameiss, President of the Northern Illinois District.
  • The Women's Ministry has a variety of events planned for the next few weeks. These include:

Story Time at Fat Bean Coffehouse 3/8 at 10 AM.

Ukranian Easter Egg making 3/8 at 6 PM.

Bible Study at the church office 3/16 at 6:30 PM.

Mommy & Me Bedtime at the Aurora Public Library-Eola Branch 3/28 at 7 PM.

Girls' Night Out movie night 3/30, meeting at the Oswego Oberweis Dairy at 6:30 PM.

  • The Men's Ministry is planning a retreat to Loredo Taft Field Campus March 18th and 19th. Food and lodging is included in the $55 registration fee.
  • C.O.M.E. will be holding another Easter egg hunt and is looking for anyone willing to donate wrapped candy or leftover plastic eggs.

3 Keys to Authenticity in Relationships

1) The fear of exposure keeps us from being authentic. (Proverbs 26:23)
Key Concept: Walk in the light. (1 John 1:7)
2) The fear of rejection keeps us from being authentic. (Proverbs 29:25)
Key Concept: Trust in Gods' unconditional love. (Daniel 10:19)
3) The fear of being hurt again keeps us from being authentic (Psalm 73:21)
Key Concept: Get a new heart. (Ezekiel 36:26)
